Incoming Student Orientation

The Community Studies Program welcomes new frosh and transfer students to the major at the beginning of every academic year during Fall Welcome Week with orientation meetings with the Community Studies Program Advisor and members of the Community Studies faculty. These meetings traditionally take place in the Oakes Mural Room in Oakes College, but in 2020 we went virtual! Professor Andrea Steiner and Program Advisor Sarah Arantza Amador welcomed students to the major via Zoom on Tuesday, September 29, 2020.

We're making them available to incoming students to reference as they prepare their academic plans and to prospective students who are curious about the major.
