Lecturers – Ongoing Pool

The Community Studies Program at the University of California, Santa Cruz, encourages applications to an ongoing pool of qualified instructors to teach undergraduate topical and core curriculum courses. We seek applications from outstanding candidates to offer primarily upper division instruction in one or more of the following topical areas:

  • Community organizing
  • Social movements
  • Experiential education theory and practice
  • Non-profit organization studies
  • Health justice
  • Health policy analysis, advocacy and activism
  • Critical public health
  • Community research methods

The positions are available on a part-time basis for one or more quarters as needed. Applicants should have demonstrated teaching experience and competence in their field/s and should be prepared to teach courses consistent with the Community Studies program.
