Study Abroad

We encourage all Community Studies students to consider participating in an education abroad program! Through academic coursework, internships and experiential learning, UCSC Study Abroad hopes to provide UCSC students the opportunity to graduate with an international experience. Programs of special interest to CMMU students include those focused on social justice, activism and identity.

Students considering studying abroad should schedule a meeting with the Community Studies Program Adviser to determine the best quarter(s) for participation as early in their academic careers as possible. As a CMMU major, it's important to experience other cultures and societies first hand, so don't miss this opportunity to travel, explore, and learn!
